Overclocking

Asus GPU Tweak II offers the same maximum power and temperature limits as those of the Founders Edition card: 120 percent and 92°C respectively. However, you also can increase a core voltage slider – we put it to 100 percent.

After this, we were able to add 120MHz to the core, taking us from the OC Mode base clock of 1,683MHz to 1,803MHz and giving us a boost clock of 1,879MHz. In-game boost speeds were even higher, reaching 2,025MHz to 2,050MHz after sustained load compared to between 1,886MHz and 1,949MHz in the regular OC Mode. This is nearly 100MHz more than we saw with our Founders Edition card.

The GDDR5 memory was stable with a 10 percent overclock running at 8.8Gbps effective.
